The poster forgot to mention this is a UK website and KFC UK doesn't mind using non-halal chicken. I'm living in UAE and obviously they are using Halal chicken here and they have to.

This is a anti American propaganda work in Saudi Arabia last 8 yrs,will they allow?There are somany restaurents KFC restaurents here.I have visited personally to Sri Lanka KFC and met the relavent authorities carry halal certificates,issued by the Halal committee.

Why people cannot think at least using common Sense.if any religion allow to killed innocent animals with whatever the way they are wrong.
This is the time to think. All are like to live. I know people do not like to think because true is bitter.
We are people. We are not a slave of any GOD.Also GOD doesn’t has any rights to decide about people or animal. The concept of creator has obsolete now. I’m not bending my back to and pray to any GOD. Every human begins have self dignity. So please don’t hurt anyone. Don’t criticize other religion beliefs. You express your what ever opinion on other religions beliefs but every thing have limit you have to stand on the limits express your opinion.
This issue regarding chicken, the Muslim should have eat lawful things according the religion. If other non Muslim people want eat that chicken, which is not problem they can eat. RAM, I accept your idea personally. anybody can ask anything about religions. That's a right and it will give ppl a good explanation it the matter. If you have any questions u r free to ask and anybody who knows about that, will probably get an answer for you. By the way ppl should NOT disgrace a religion because they don't know what is that. And for ZAN, I really respect your feelings, but we should be able give answers/explanations to Non-muslim's questions rather than neglecting or showing our emotions to them.

I really personnaly disagree about this muslim concept. What is the perpouse of worship the god five times a day and kill animals by the name of god! Of course We do (the other religions) kill animals. But not sake of the GOD !

Well it's better muslims not to ear KFC anymore, and I dont this KFC will lose business on such instance. And if any food is tag with HALA doesn't mean that they are really HALAL so this a good example of it. if muslims suppose not to eat KFC better avoid it rather than blame on the company !!

1st of all i kindly request you all to learn talking way with manners & courtesy because basically everybody is human being.
2ndlly everybody can discuss or criticize, no body has right to insult others or their faiths. (this is common rights applicable for everyboby and every religious person, no muslim is exceptional).
3rd, if you do not need to bother about halal issue then why you need to make unncessary insultation? if you really indent to know what is Halal, then you can simply ask, the muslim will explain you. but, nowhere you are compelled to follow it. and you no need to worry about our hardship, we will manage it. becuase it is very clear from your comments that you are not worry about our hardship becuase of we have to avoid some foods, instead you try to insult us.

May be its not Halal in UK (above is KFC,UK website), but I live in UAE, and there are many KFC here. And one thing we can trust always in UAE that we can go anywhere and eat anything coz everything is Halal in this country.

Dear muslim friends who are living in muslim countries,
as i believe it may be true KFC chicken is halal in muslim/arab countries, because KFC needs to buy chicken from these countries markets only, they cant import directly, but who are living in non-muslim countries only have to bother to make sure chicken or beaf is Halal before they eat, which is not only for KFC foods also for other food centers.

Theres no difference in halal or normal meat. both are the same. Meat is made by killing animals. Weather you use a special knife or method meat is meat.

I - Halal Method
1. The first three seconds from the time of Islamic slaughter as recorded on the EEG did not show any change from the graph before slaughter, thus indicating that the animal did not feel any pain during or immediately after the incision.
2. For the following 3 seconds, the EEG recorded a condition of deep sleep - unconsciousness. This is due to a large quantity of blood gushing out from the body.
3. After the above mentioned 6 seconds, the EEG recorded zero level, showing no feeling of pain at all.
4. As the brain message (EEG) dropped to zero level, the heart was still pounding and the body convulsing vigorously (a reflex action of the spinal cord) driving maximum blood from the body: resulting in hygienic meat for the consumer.
II - Western method by C.B.P. Stunning
1. The animals were apparently unconscious soon after stunning.
2. EEG showed severe pain immediately after stunning.
3. The hearts of the animal stunned by C.B.P. stopped beating earlier as compared to those of the animals slaughtered according to the Halal method resulting in the retention of more blood inthe meat. This in turn is unhygienic for the consumer.
